Description
Similar to a lunge, make a big step forward with one leg, keep your other leg far back and go down with your hip (straight back) into the lunge. Rest there for 1-2 seconds and then go back up. Repeat this for the other leg.
Progression
Lean further into the stretch.
Feel sensation
Gentle stretch of your hip flexor.
Common mistakes
Holding the stretch for too long.
